The Author

Chris Wade was born and raised in Eugene.  He graduated from both North Eugene High School (1987) and Northwest Christian College (1991) with his Bachelors in Cross-Cultural Ministry. While he was in college he worked for the US Forest Service doing computer based cartography (GIS) and fighting fire in the summer.  He worked on both the Willamette National Forest (Lowell Ranger District) and the Umpqua National Forest (Cottage Grove Ranger District).  In 1990 he married his college sweetheart, Michelle.

Currently he is working as a Web Manager for SIM and his in-law's business Laser Excellence!
